Event Schedule (Basic) — Setup & Configuration Guide

Overview

The AREOS Event Schedule module displays a multi-track event agenda on your HubSpot pages, with a track-grid view, a list view, filters, and a session detail dialog. It's ideal for conferences, webinars series, and multi-session events.

Best for: conference agendas, summit schedules, training timetables, and any multi-session event page.

Basic edition limits: up to 2 concurrent tracks and 2 days. Upgrade to AREOS Event Schedule Pro for up to 10 tracks, 10 days, and 200 sessions.

Getting Started

  1. Open any page in the HubSpot editor.
  2. Search for "AREOS Event Schedule" in the module panel.
  3. Drag it onto your page and click to configure.
  4. Add your tracks, days, and sessions in the fields panel.

Field Reference

Section & Colours

Field What it does
Section Eyebrow / Heading Text shown above the schedule.
Colours Primary, background, text, and keynote colours. All colours are field-driven.

Tracks

Each track has a name and its own background, border, and text colours (used in the grid, cards, legend, and dialog).

Days & Sessions

Each day has a label and a list of sessions. Each session has:

Field What it does
Title / Description Session name and detail (detail shows in the dialog).
Start / End time, Duration Timing shown on the card and in the dialog.
Is keynote / Is break Flags a keynote (highlighted) or a break (no speakers).
Speakers Name, role, company, and photo per speaker.
Topics Comma-separated tags used by the topic filter.

How It Works

  1. Visitors switch between a track grid and a list view.
  2. Filters (topic, speaker, company, track) narrow the sessions; "clear all" resets them.
  3. Clicking a session opens a detail dialog (focus moves into it, Escape closes it, and page scroll is restored on close).
  4. Day tabs switch between days.

Example Configuration

  • Day 1 — "Main Stage" (keynote 09:00), two parallel tracks (Product / Growth) from 10:00.
  • Day 2 — workshops track + a break session at lunch.

External Dependencies

None. The module is fully self-contained — no external scripts, fonts, or CDN requests. It renders entirely from the content you enter.

Limitations & Known Behaviour

  • Up to 2 concurrent tracks and 2 days (Pro raises these).
  • Requires JavaScript to switch views, filter, and open the dialog.
  • In the track grid, only one session per track per time slot is shown; keynotes/breaks occupy their time slot. The list view always shows every session.
  • Session and speaker text you enter is escaped before display.

Troubleshooting

Symptom Likely cause / fix
A session doesn't appear in the grid Another session shares its track and time slot; check the list view, or adjust times.
Filters show nothing An active filter combination excludes all sessions — use "clear all".
Colours look wrong Check the track and section colour fields.
