Event Schedule Pro — Setup & Configuration Guide

Overview

AREOS Event Schedule Pro is the full-featured version of the event schedule module: up to 10 concurrent tracks, 10 days, and 200 sessions, with per-track colour control, mobile swipe for concurrent tracks, filters, and session detail dialogs.

Getting Started
  1. Open any page in the HubSpot editor.
  2. Search for "AREOS Event Schedule Pro" in the module panel.
  3. Drag it onto your page and configure tracks, days, and sessions.
Field Reference

Same structure as the Basic edition, at Pro scale:

Section & Colours

Section eyebrow/heading, plus primary/background/text/keynote colours (all field-driven).

Tracks (up to 10)

Each track has a name and its own background, border, and text colours, used across the grid, cards, legend, and dialog.

Days (up to 10) & Sessions (up to 200)

Per session: title, description, start/end time, duration, keynote/break flags, speakers (name, role, company, photo), and comma-separated topics.

How It Works
  1. Track grid and list views; day tabs switch days.
  2. Filters by topic, speaker, company, and track, with "clear all".
  3. Session detail dialog with focus management, Escape-to-close, and body-scroll restoration.
  4. On mobile, concurrent tracks scroll horizontally.
Example Configuration

A three-day summit: Day 1 keynote + 4 parallel tracks; Day 2 workshops across 6 tracks; Day 3 partner sessions — up to 200 sessions total, each colour-coded by track.

External Dependencies

None. Fully self-contained — no external scripts, fonts, or CDN requests.

Limitations & Known Behaviour
  • Enforced limits: 10 tracks, 10 days, 200 sessions (these match the listing claims).
  • Requires JavaScript.
  • In the track grid, one session per track per time slot is shown; the list view shows every session. At large track counts the grid relies on horizontal scrolling on smaller screens.
  • Session/speaker text is escaped before display.
Accessibility
  • Cards and day tabs are keyboard-operable; the detail dialog traps focus on open, closes on Escape, and restores focus and page scroll on close.
  • Verify per-track text/background colour combinations meet WCAG contrast in cards, legend, filters, and the dialog.
Troubleshooting

A session is missing from the grid Another session shares its track/time slot; check the list view.
Track colours hard to read Adjust the track text/background colours for contrast.
Filters show nothing Active filters exclude all sessions — use "clear all".
